Richard David Conibear, 52, of Bonifay died Dec. 23 at his home. He was born Nov. 21, 1956 in Lakeland to the late Richard H. and Jo Wintermute Conibear.
He is survived by his wife, JoLea Fewell Conibear of Bonifay; stepdaughter, Niki Lawhan of Sopchoppy; two sisters, Jolinda Session and Ann Roberts both of Lakeland and two grandchildren. Memorialization by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in Bonifay, directing.

Richard David "RD" Conibear Richard David "RD" Conibear, 52, passed away quietly at his home in Bonifay, Florida, on December 23, 2008, with his wife JoLea at his side, after a two year battle with cancer. RD was born in Lakeland, Fla., where he lived before moving to northern Florida when he went to work as a Project Administrator for Volkert Construction Services. He was employed by Volkert for 15 years during which time he was in charge of overseeing and inspecting major roadways. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working on vintage cars and motorcycles. He and his father restored several vintage cars and trucks. RD had a kind heart, and wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed playing practical jokes on the ones he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. (Chief) Conibear and Jo W. Conibear. He is survived by his wife, JoLea Fewell Conibear; a step-daughter, Niki Lawhon (Josh); and two grandchildren, Brayden and Parker of Sopchoppy, Fla.; two sisters, JoLinda Sessions (Terry) and Ann Roberts (Paul)of Lakeland, Fla.; mother and father-in-law, Beverly and Raleigh Fewell and brother-in-law, Jimmy Fewell . (Laura) of Woodville, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Melinda Crum (Kendall) of Crawfordville, Fla. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. EST Saturday, January 3, 2008, at Harvey-Young Funeral Home Chapel, 3106 Crawfordville Highway, Crawfordville, Fla. (850-926-3333). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice at 4374 Lafayette Street, Marianna, FL 32446. A luncheon to celebrated RD's life will follow the service at Hudson Park Pavilion north of Wakulla Bank in Crawfordville, Florida.
