Carlo Sooger died November 7, 2007. Carlo
majored in economics and history, and went
on to earn a master’s degree from the University
of St. Thomas. He served as a medic in
World War II. He was a public school teacher,
principal, and district administrator, primarily
in the Centennial School District in Circle
Pines, Minnesota. He is survived by wife, Dora
Geno Sooger ’47; son, Gary; daughters, Carol,
Linda, and Nancy; twelve grandchildren; and
eight great-grandchildren.
