Barbara Phenix, 57, of Dayton, Texas, formerly of Farwell, died on May 22 in an auto accident. Barbara was born on October 5, 1942 the daughter of Robert and Bernice Snover of Farwell.

Barbara is survived by her husband Wendell; her mother Bernice; daughter Deborah Frank; son Dale Zimmerman and Denise; step-children: Patricia Rameriz, Nicole and James Osborn, Rex and Kim Phenix, Robert Phenix; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers: Robert and Maurine Snover, Dave and Pat Snover, Ron and Lucy Snover, Sam and Dauw Snover, Joe and Ann Snover; three sisters: Betty Lou and Robert Giddings, Elaine Searles, Marilyn and Charles Smith; along with many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert and brother-in-law, Gene Searles.

Funeral services for Barbara were held on Monday, May 29 at 2 p.m. from the Coker Funeral Home of Farwell with Rev. James Young officiating. Burial was in the Surrey Township Cemetery.

of Goodrich; died February 14, 2012. He was 63. Born December 6, 1948 in Pontiac to the late Vernon E. and Harriet M. (nee: Snover) Vore. He married the former Nancy Marsh on October 13, 1972 in Ortonville. He is survived by his wife Nancy; two daughters, Jodie (Grover) Ferdon and Amy (Michael) Street; one son, Dannie Vore II; six grandchildren, Brooke and Joshua Ferdon, Alicia, Rosie and Taylor Bice and Logan Vore; one brother, Sam (Ada) Vore. Dannie was formerly employed at Sea Ray Boats in Oxford and Johnson Controls. He enjoyed muscle cars, hunting, fishing, fixing just about anything imaginable and was known as a prankster.

Visitation : Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
