George R. Naudascher, 83, formerly of Sellersville, died Tuesday in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Township. He was the husband of the late Mabel (Wenhold) Naudascher and Ida (Labs) Naudascher.

He was employed by Ametek-U.S. Gauge, Sellersville, for 26 years before retiring.

Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Hannah (Lewis) Naudascher.

He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Quakertown.

He was a member of the fire police for the Sellersville Fire Company for 25 years.

Anna and Newton Umstat were divorced. There is a story circulating in the family, but I can never get a good conformation of what, that Newton was in jail in Bucks County and then he ran off to New York. Anna apprently had no choice but to divorce him. Divorce Petition was filed November 10, 1934 and the Divorce Decree was July 3, 1935-filed in the Bucks County courthouse in Doylestown Pennsylvania.

The Christ's Evangelical Church records show that they were both of Sundale at the time of marriage by C. C. Snyder. Catherine from Bedminsterville born August 22, 1879 died August 7, 1963. Catherine the first child born of Eli and Sarah Kulp Strouse. Eli born September 17, 1856 the son of Samuel Strouse and Elizabeth Shull, who was to become the second wife of #3343 Henry Hillpot. John L. Hillpot born in Tinicum he was a farmer, a member of the Christ Lutheran Church where he served as a deacon he was also a sexton for many years. An entry at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church Records shows John L. as a Prof of Faith dated April 14, 1907. John also served as a supervisor for Tinicum Twp. for 12 years. He was instrumental in the clearing of the Hillpot Cemetery as/ Rev. Myers I must check this out where did he find this information. He lived with his son Harry, at Pebble Hill Rd. Doylestown for 12 years prior to his death. They are both buried at Lower Tinicum New Cemetery.
