John S. Arcade was born on 17 July 1934 in Doylestown, Bucks, Pennsylvania. He was married on 11 September 1995 in Orlando, Brevard, Florida. He died on 23 August 2010, at age 76, in Norristown, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.

1 John S. Arcade, age 76, of West Norriton, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on August 22, 2010.
Born in Doylestown on July 17, 1934 he was the son of the late Victorio Giuseppe and Teresa (nee Pier) Arcadi.
John was a veteran serving in the Army during the Korean War as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division of the Hells Angels where he made 18 jumps. In his younger years, he was a football coach for the Warrington Athletic Association and was a sideline official for the Central Bucks football team. He was a retired Steamfitter for Local Union 420.
After his retirement, John went to work for the family business, Anton & Sons Pools, and became a cast member for the Disney store.
He recently took a trip to Italy with his family to visit the town where his father was born. John enjoyed taking trips to Disney, the shore, and Canada to visit relatives. He was a devout family man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grand children. He enjoyed family gatherings, dancing (especially the electric slide) and playing dominoes. He was an avid Flyers and Eagles fan and loved teasing people.
John was a retired lifetime member of the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Doylestown.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra A. (nee Mill) Arcade. Loving father of John (Lyn) Arcade of Sellersville, Michele Arcade of Las Vegas, NV, Dee (Mike) Dougherty of Lansdale, Kelly (Gary) Norton of Audubon, Susan (Jim) Teoli of Wilmington, DE and Rick (Jennifer) Stelmach of Alameda, CA. Also surviving are his grandchildren Bradley (Suzanna) Arcade, Adrienne (Charles) Mott, Candace Arcade, Kyle (Megan) Dougherty, Jay and Michael Dougherty, Mary Alexa Teoli, Olivia and Ava Norton, and Rebecca Stelmach, his great-grandchildren Roman, Dominic and Giada Arcade, Lia, Joie and Kyla Mott. Also surviving are his sisters Frances (Lorenz) Anton of Doylestown, Cecilia (Thomas) Hood of Warrington, brothers Joseph (Ricky) of Greenwich, CT, Frank (Cyndi) of Lansdale, sister-in-law Kathi Arcade of Murrieta, CA, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Lori, his brother Stephen and sister Elizabeth Monaco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s Life Celebration service on Saturday, August 28 from 11-1PM with his memorial service at 1PM at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton, 200 W. Germantown Pike 1-800-GIVINSH. Interment Private.
