Gordon Haney, 83, of Nazareth, Pa., died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born: On July 20, 1921 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Samuel and Edna Hager Haney. Personal: He was the husband of the former Eileen M. Kolackosky. He was employed as a Construction Minor with the Sandhog Tunnel Workers Union Local #147 in New York and #472 in New Jersey with Schiavone Construction Company. Gordon served in the Navy during World War II with the Seabees. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Eileen, he is survived by two sons, Douglas A. of Kunkletown, Pa., Richard of West Virginia; three daughters, Laurie of Glen Gardner, NJ, Barbara of Jupider, Fl, Donna of South Amboy, NJ; and three grandchildren, John Markovitz, Lucas, and Pap's little lady, Mariah. A brother, Earl, died earlier. Services: A funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ. A calling hour will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., Pa. The Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, NJ, is in charge of the arrangements.
