Earl was born in Rapid City, S.D. March 31, 1928 to Felix and Augusta Mae (Twinning) Leman. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force during World War II and was a member of Shakopee American Legion Post 2. Earl was a retired employee of Toro Corporation.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. at the McNearney Funeral Home, 1220 Third Avenue East, Shakopee with the Rev. Alan Naumann officiating. Interment is at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery with Honors. The Shakopee Veteran’s Memorial Unit will conduct military rites.
