Nicholas A. Procaccino of Princeton died Friday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 20.
Born in Raritan Township, he was a lifelong Princeton resident.
He graduated from Princeton High School in 2003 and was co-captain of the football team.
He attended Mercer County Community College for two years and was currently enrolled at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City.
He worked at the community service project High-Hoops in Trenton and was an avid musician, songwriter and recording artist as well as a sports fan.
He is survived by his parents John and Laura Rodweller Procaccino; sister Alexis N. Procaccino at home; maternal grandfather William Rodweller of Princeton; special aunts and uncles Michael and Nancy Zorochin of Princeton, Patti and Bob Smith of Robbinsville, Ursula and Mike Thompson of Florida, David and Sue Rodweller of Carrollton, Ohio, Mark and Darlene Rodweller of Florida, Billy and Sherry Rodweller of Florida, Judy Procaccino of Princeton, Joseph and Jane Procaccini of Hopewell; cousins Zachary Zorochin, Mathew and Brittney Procaccini, Rebecca and John Sweeney, Mark and Gia Egan, Jake Egan, Eric and Cathy Smith, Renee Smith, and special friend Ashley Heller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. today St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
