Frank Orville Buza was also known as Frank Buza. He was a Farmer.1 Frank Buza, longtime farmer BONFIELD -- Frank O. Buza, 81, of Bonfield, died Wednesday (Oct. 6, 2004) at Manor Care Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. services at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes. Rev. John Cross will officiate. Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Salina Fire Department or Grand Prairie United Methodist Church. Mr. Buza was a farmer in the Bonfield area for many years. He was born June 22, 1923 in Custer Park, the son of Frank A. and Florence McGilvary Buza. His parents are deceased.
He was a member of Grand Prairie United Methodist Church and at one time was a trustee in the church. He was a member of the Amateur Trapshooters Association, and won many trophies. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Springfield in 1998. In 2003, he shot 250,000 targets and made it to the Quarter Million ATA Club. Mr. Buza enjoyed golf, fishing, playing cards, and played baseball for the church and Farm Bureau.
