Charles E. Trauger, 77, of Raubsville, died Sept. 7 in his home. He was married to Freda (Resh) Trauger for 55 years last February. He was a machinist, last employed as a supervisor for the former SMS Textile, Allentown, for more than 20 years before retiring in 1997. Previously, he worked for the former Berlou Mills, Raubsville. Born in Ferndale, he was a son of the late Charles Sr. and Blanche (Myers) Trauger. He was a member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Raubsville.

Freda A. Trauger, 83, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Raubsville died early Tuesday morning September 1, 2009 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born: She was born on September 19, 1925 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Clayton R. and Anna Krome Resh. Personal: She married Charles E. Trauger on February 14, 1948. He preceded her in death on September 7, 2003. Mrs. Trauger was of the Lutheran faith. She was a graduate of Easton High School and the Allentown School of Nursing as an RN. She retired as a Registered Nurse. Survivors: Surviving are two daughters, Carol B. Myers and her husband Dan of Altoona, Nancy Mott and her husband Steve of Sewickley; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Clayton R. Resh, Jr. of Easton; a sister, Colleen Hayes of New Tripoli; and a sister-in-law, Joyce A. Resh of Easton. Freda was preceded in death by a brother George W. Resh. Services: A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday September 5, 2009 at Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville with Rev. David Deal officiating. Interment will follow at Raubsville Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
