Marie Elizabeth Gordy was born on 15 November 1939 in Atlantic City, Atlantic, New Jersey.^2,1 She and William Joseph Ott, Jr., were married on 20 July 1959 in Atlantic City, Atlantic, New Jersey.^1,3 She died on 24 December 2010, at age 71, in New Cumberland, Cumberland, Pennsylvania.² She was buried in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon, Pennsylvania.²

Marie Elizabeth (nee Gordy) Ott, of Cumberland, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday with her family by her bedside.

Born in Atlantic City, she attended Atlantic City High School and later raised her family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

A loving mother and wife, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years William, parents Elmer and Emma and brothers Ralph, Raymond and Arthur.

She was survived by her sons William III (Kathy), Joseph (Jeanette), and Francis (Heidi); daughters Carol Henkel, Debora (Steven) Macy, Marie (fiance Scott Nenninger), and Linda (Harry) Greisser; grandchildren Jennifer, Daniel, Jeffrey, Nicholas, Derek, Keith, Katelyn, Steven, William IV, William, Jason and Julia; and Grace, Christine and Boaz Kim.

Private services will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap.
