Marie Wheeler, 100, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2015. After living in North Wales for 27 years, Marie moved to Richardson Avenue in Lansdale where she spent the past 73 years. As a graduate of North Wales High School, she married Dick Wheeler in 1933. Marie was a charter member of the Lansdale Historical Society, an Eastern Star and served in many positions for the American Legion Auxiliary. Although Marie enjoyed travel and genealogies, her greatest love in life was that of her family.

She will be greatly missed by her three children - including Charles “Tony” Wheeler, Nancy Wheeler Dilworth (and husband Robert) and Trudie Wheeler Hadden (and husband George) - 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Her memory and legacy of love lives on in her family and those that she met along the way. She had a happy spirit and always bettered those around her with her presence. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Dick.

Family and friends will be accepting visitors from 1:00-2:00 pm and will be celebrating her life from 2:00-2:30 pm on Monday, November 16th at R.L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd. Skippack.
