Wendell Allen Smith was born on 25 June 1928 in Michigan.1,2,3 He died on 26 December 2009, at age 81, in Springfield, Fairfax, Virginia.3 He was buried in Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, Fairfax, Virginia.4
Wendell Allen Smith was awarded an Architecture.5 He was educated Virginia Tech.5 U.S. Army-WWll- 1946-1948.5 He was a Co-Owner Smith and Smith Architects, Springfield, Virginia, 1965-1983.5 U.S. Army, WW II.

He had Parkinson's disease. He was a 1952 architecture graduate of Virginia Tech, where he also received his master's degree in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948 as part of the post-World War II occupational forces in Japan. He and his brother, William, owned Smith and Smith Architects in Springfield, VA, from 1965 to 1983.

Husband 55 years of Martha Imogene "Jean" Dalton Smith.

Also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen & Katherine Smith and Jeffrey & Deirdre Smith; brother and sister-in-law, William & Elizabeth Smith, both of Virginia; six grandchildren.

Interment followed funeral services conducted Saturday, January 2, 2010.

Winifred Howell Cornell was born on 2 October 1918 in Romeo, Macomb, Michigan.1,3,4,2 She and Ralph Albert Haber were married on 10 March 1941 in Bowling Green, Wood County, Ohio.5 She died on 8 May 2006, at age 87, in Metamora, Lapeer, Michigan.4 She was buried in Dawn Memorial Cemetery, Lapeer, Lapeer, Michigan.5
Winifred Cornell Haber, 87, of Metamora, died Monday, May 8, 2006. She was born October 2, 1918, in Macomb County, to Horace and Daisy (Howell) Cornell. She married Ralph Haber in Bowling Green, OH on March 10, 1941.

Winifred was a loving mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank Whispering Pines AFC Home for all their help, and also the Hospice nurses.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Ed) Dunsmore of Metamora, Mary (Fred) Dunsmore of Davison, Daniel Haber (friend, Chris Reynolds) of Stockton, CA; grandchildren, Andrew Dunsmore of Ann Arbor, Anthony (Darcy) Dunsmore of Burton; great-grandchildren, Faith and Jacob; and step-great-grandchild, Mike.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Haber; parents, Horace and Daisy Cornell; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hometown Hospice, Lapeer.
The family will receive friends from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Rev. James Sheldrake will officiate. Burial will be in Dawn Memorial Cemetery, Lapeer.
