She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Edward Backer and daughter, Barbara Arliss.

Services will be held in Levittown, New York under the direction of Dalton Funeral Home.

Arthur was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Arliss.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, June 19, 11 a.m. at St. Thomas of Canterbury in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Cremation is Private.
