L. Melone (Michael) of Dunedin, FL; one devoted son, Richard B. Lueckel Jr. (Nicci) of Zanesville, OH; six granddaughters; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; three nieces and six nephews.

After attending Temple University, he worked for 20 years at the Samuel M. Langston Co. in Camden, NJ, having held several accounting positions. In 1972, he relocated to Marion, IN to accept a Comptrollers position with Delta Electric Corp. He was also Comptroller for Shumaker Bros. Industries in Indianapolis before joining Cannon Turf Supply in Indianapolis, subsequently Fishers, IN. He retired from there December 31, 1993, as Chief Financial Officer.

Richard served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Oakland Masonic Lodge #140 F. & A.M., successor to Cumberland Masonic Lodge #726 F. & A.M., and the Scottish Rite-Valley of Indianapolis.

Mr. Lueckel was an Ordained Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church.
