He was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Stroudsburg, Pa.
Mr. Pilewsky came to Florida 40 years ago from Sussex County, N.J. He served in the U.S. Army, and he retired from the U.S. Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, N.J., after 26 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Loretta M. of North Port; son, Joseph F. Pilewsky III of North Port; daughters, Sandra Blais of North Port, and Christine Devens of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; sister, Marjorie Henry of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his seven siblings.
Interment with honors at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Fla.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Christ Episcopal Church, Newton, for Claude C. White, who died Sunday in York, (Pa.) Hospital after a long illness. The Rev. Leonard Nichols will officiate, and burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Masonic services were held at the Luse and Smith Funeral Home, High street, last night.
Mr. White, who was 57, had made his home in York and was territorial manager for John Deere Company. He formerly lived in Foster street in Newton. He was a member of Harmony Lodge F. and A. M., of Newton, and of Baldwin Chapter, R. A. M., and Sussex County Forest, Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
He leaves his wife, the former Mildred Huff; two brothers, Elmer, of Warrenburg, Mo., and Norman D., of Doylestown, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Jack Stewart , of Newton, and Mrs. Lamoyne Ellett Smith, of St. Louis, Mo.
