Survivors include her husband, Douglas; a daughter, Leslie Butler, Valrico; parents, Richard and Theresa Saitta, Omaha; two brothers, Steven and Richard Saitta III, both of Omaha; and six sisters, Terri Archer, Medicine Bow, Wyo., and Rosie Sherman, Kathy Saitta, Patti Stecki, Elizabeth Shokoski and Christine Ostler, all of Omaha. Biography

Frederick Gail Griffith was born on 25 August 1933 in Des Moines County, Iowa. He and Nancy Lee Woolsey were married on 2 September 1956 in Galesburg, Knox, Illinois. He died on 6 May 2015, at age 81, in Colorado. He was buried on 21 May 2015 in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, Waupaca, Wisconsin.
SGT US Army- Korean War.1,2 Frederick Gail Griffith was educated Bradley University-Peoria, Illinois.1 Frederick Gail Griffith, beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, entered into his eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Fred was devoted to making memories and upholding his wife and children. He enjoyed spending his time repairing old radios, and watching sporting events with his children, particularly supporting the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. An avid gun enthusiast, he was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Born August 25, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa, to parents Mr. and Mrs. Gale and Irene Griffith, Fred enjoyed fishing and building radios from the ground up.

After High School, in service to his country, Fred joined the Army during the Korean conflict, as a communications specialist. After his honorable discharge from military service, he attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with a focus on engineering. He married the love of his life Nancy Woolsey of Galesburg, Illinois, on September 2, 1956. The couple raised their daughter and two sons, traveling for his employment to various states throughout the country. Upon his retirement, Fred and Nancy settled in Wisconsin, and then upon Nancy's death, Fred joined his children in Colorado.

Fred is survived by his three children, Lauren Gail Griffith, Kevin Scott Griffith, and Brian Kent Griffith. In addition, he is survived by his brother Richard Griffith of E. Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and wife, Donna, and his sister, Mary Ellen (Griffith) Niles of Abingdon, Illinois, and husband Donald, also four nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 12:30pm at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI COUNTY CHAPEL. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

She was born in Galesburg, IL, on 3 Apr 1935, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Evelyn Woolsey.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gail; children, Lauren Griffith, Kevin Griffith and Brian Griffith; sisters, Marilynn Gaisford and Shirley Wright; and brothers, Gary, Gene and Ron Woolsey.

Funeral will be at noon Friday, April 23, at Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, WI 54915. A memorial fund is being established for Fox Valley Christian Fellowship.
