Mary (Sis) Elizabeth Getshall was born on 4 November 1949 in Elkton, Cecil, Maryland. She and Edward (Bobby) Leonard Huffer, Jr., were married in 1971.¹ She died on 10 June 2007, at age 57.¹ She was buried in Galena Cemetery, Galena, Kent, Maryland.

Mary E. 'Sis' Huffer of Cecilton, Md., died on Sunday, June 10, 2007, in her home. She was 57.

Mrs. Huffer was born on Nov. 4, 1949, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Hessey Getshall. She was a lifetime resident of Cecil County where she was raised in Fredericktown. Sis was a 1967 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School. After her marriage in 1971, she moved to Cecilton.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Edward �Hollywood� Huffer Jr.; a daughter, Susan Cooper, and her husband, Mike, of Cecilton, Md.; a brother, John F. Getshall, of Alexandria, Va.; and two grandchildren, Steven and Kaitlyn Cooper.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to Seasons Hospice or Autism Speaks in honor of her granddaughter, Kaitlyn, c/o the funeral home.

Jody Scott Veness was born on 6 February 1959 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.¹ He died on 4 May 1980, at age 21, in Crow Wing County, Minnesota.² He was buried in Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington, Hennepin, Minnesota.³
