Friends may call from 7 to p.m. today at the Lutz-VerMilyea Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Nelson Beck officiating. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery, Lander, Pa.

Marysue (Lanning) Baker, 74, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012. She was born July 8, 1937, in Lucas County, Toledo, Ohio.
She was the beloved wife of the late Albert L. Baker, Jr., whom she married August 20, 1960; devoted mother of Kim (William) Embry; and proud grandmother of Andrew and Abigail Embry.
Marysue was a 1955 WATTS graduate and 5th in standing in her class; she went on to work at Warren Bank and Trust, Graham Insurance Agency, tax preparation, Smock's Answering Service and she was a confidential typist. She enjoyed time with her family and friends; she was an avid reader and took time to write to our service men and women. Marysue also loved music. She collected records and some of her favorite genres included Big Band and Jazz music.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Visitation will be followed by a graveside service and interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
