Lloyd Napierre (Custer) Cooper, Jr., was born on 20 November 1926 in Glenside, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.1,2 He died on 17 October 2021, at age 94, in Krumsville, Berks, Pennsylvania.2 He was buried on 23 October 2021 in New Bethel Zion Church Cemetery, Grimville, Berks, Pennsylvania.2
Lloyd Napierre (Custer) Cooper, Jr., was educated Penn State University.3 He was a Farmer/ Eastern State and AGWAY. Lloyd Napierre Cooper, Jr., of Krumsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2021 in his residence at the age of 94, 34 days short of his 95th birthday. He was the loving husband of Jean Alta (Bean) Cooper, whom he married on February 7, 1948, by The Rev. Paul Reuman at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale.

Born in Glenside, Montgomery County, Lloyd was a son of the late Lloyd Napierre Cooper, Sr., and Helen Harley (Custer) Cooper. He was a graduate of St. Luke's High School, New Canaan, CT, and attended Penn State University. Lloyd began his career as a dairy farmer until 1952, when he went to work for Eastern State and AGWAY. 1960, Lloyd continued his farming career as a hog farmer, beginning on the family farm in Montgomeryville and later, Krumsville, until his retirement.

Lloyd was a dedicated farmer at heart. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmer's Association as well as their Berks County Chapter, Senior Extension Farming Group of Montgomery County, and served as the Secretary for the Eastern Pennsylvania Pork Producers' Association for many years. He also enjoyed cross county skiing in his younger years and traveling.

Lloyd was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Krumsville, and was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, Pleasantville Reformed Church, Bucks County, and Mount Carmel Church, Glenside.

In addition to his wife of 73 years, Jean, Lloyd is survived by his four children, The Reverend Dennis Lloyd Cooper, and his wife, Deborah Anne (Tyler) Cooper, Carl Bryan Cooper, Gail Jean Cooper-Parks, widow of Daniel Parks, and William Custer Cooper; eight grandchildren, Dennis Lloyd Cooper, II, and his wife, Adrienne, Tamara Beth Cooper, Amanda Faith Cooper, Carl Bryan Cooper, Jr., and his wife, Carla, Carrie Marie (Cooper) Olmstead, and her husband, Matt, Jason Daniel Parks, and his significant other, Anna Katharina Liesenfeld, Michael Tyler Wessner and Melissa Sue (Wessner) Adam, and her husband, Eric; 17 great-grandchildren, Daniel Paul Meyers, Ivand Ignatius Cooper, Jonah Cornelius Cooper, Jenna Jade Cooper, Asher Cade Cooper, Crede Cole Cooper, Aramie Love Arroyo, Aprida Rose Cooper, Angel Louis Arroyo, Emma Louise Olmstead, Madilynn Marie "Maddi" Olmstead, Cooper James Olmstead, Lily Mae Adam, Claire Cooper, Lillian Grace Olmstead, Judah Ryan Adam and Legend Michael Cooper; and sister-in-law, Marcia (Roos) Cooper.

Along with his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by his siblings, William Ridge Cooper, II, David Custer Cooper, and his wife, Olive J. (Jenks) Cooper, and Charles Arthur Cooper, and his wife, Jacque N. (Murray) Cooper.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Lloyd's life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. in Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Road, Kutztown (Krumsville), PA, with Vicar Jeremiah A. Heydt and The Reverend Dennis L. Cooper, officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining New Bethel Zion Cemetery.

Biography

Larry Daniel (Dan) Parks was born on 4 November 1951 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland. He died on 1 October 2012, at age 60, in Jupiter, Palm Beach, Florida. He was buried on 5 October 2012 in Riverside Memorial Park (Garden of Grace), Tequesta, Martin, Florida.2
Larry Daniel (Dan) Parks was educated Willliamsport Area Community College/ York Academy of Arts.1 He was a Remodeler/ Carpenter -The Country Bumpkin.1 Dan Parks, of Jupiter, FL, passed away October 1, 2012.

He was born in Baltimore, MD, on November 4, 1951.

Dan was a native of York, graduating from Red Lion High School, 1969 and attending Williamsport Area Community College and York Academy of Arts.

He was a gifted artist who had expertise in: stone sculpting, oil painting, water color, silk screening and sign making. His work is found in private collections in Maine, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Missouri, Montana and Florida.

Dan moved to Jupiter in 1983 and has displayed his artwork in local restaurants, Tequesta Galleries and Profile Gallery. He also worked as a graphic artist for Jadco Signing Inc and Floridian Signs, both in Jupiter, FL. His God given talent and creativity drove him to become an accomplished guitarist and singer.

During the 80s, Dan was a member of the "City Limits" band and performed as a solo act in local area restaurants. He enjoyed writing and playing music for the pure joy it gave him.

Dan loved to travel and had an intense appreciation for the beauty of God's earth. During his lifetime he spent much time outdoors hiking and hiked the majority of the Appalachian Trail. He also loved boating, fishing and playing tennis.

Dan was preceded in death by his beloved parents Luther and Marcella Parks, and his brother, Bob Parks and survivors include his wife of 33 years Gail, who loved him with her whole heart; one son, Jason (Mariya) Parks to whom he passed on his musical and artistic talents; three sisters, Carolyn Sue (Rick) Miller, Donna Jean (Jim) Zak and Gail(Bob) Stovall; his father and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Jean Cooper; three brothers-in-law, Dennis (Debbie) Cooper, Carl Cooper and Bill Cooper; many nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, who was like a sister, Cindy Ross.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 7 p.m., October 5, 2012 at Grace Immanuel Bible Church, Jupiter, FL, with private interment to be held at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL.
