1 Curtis Leo Ligon, 57, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died Sunday, December 14, 2003, at his home.
He was born October 21, 1946, in Modesto, California, the son of Bill Ligon and Pauline Vanderpool Ligon.
He was a 1965 graduate of Ceres High School in Ceres, California. He came to Arkansas in 1977 when he began working at Steele's Popeye of Springdale. He then transferred to Allen Canning where he retired after 19 years. He was a member of House of Prayer Church in Siloam Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Claretta Attebery Ligon of the home; a son, Curtis Ligon of Little Rock; three daughters, Cheryl Speed, Twila "Mandy" McMahan and Amber Coker, all of Colcord; 13 grandchildren; his mother of Waterford, California; his stepmother, Linda Ligon of Canadian, Oklahoma; three sisters, Deborah Johnson, Elaine Rose and Ramona Baker, all of Modesto; and a stepbrother, Cameron Bennett of Watts, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at House of Prayer Church in Siloan Springs with Hugh Woolard officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Adair County, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are under the director of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
