3 Jaclyn "Jaci" Bien, 19, of Bradenton, formerly of Loves Park, passed away Saturday evening, August 12, 2006. She moved to Bradenton in 2003 and graduated from Lakewood Ranch High School, Class of 2005. She was attending Manasota Community College. Jaci loved her cat, Pookie and lived life to the fullest. She leaves behind her mother Jeanine (Rob) Gregory, Bradenton; father Jeffrey Bien,; sisters Julianne Bien and Johnna Brennan, all of Loves Park; maternal grandmother Darlene Grimstad, Largo, FL; paternal grandparents Dorothy and Vern Bien, Eau Claire, WI; maternal great-grandmother Verona Neufer, Belvidere; and her very special friends Mark Beauchamp , Bradenton and Shannon Getter, Rockford. She will always be in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation in Bradenton Tuesday August 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton, FL. Illinois visitation Thursday August 17 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N.Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL. Funeral service Friday August 18 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford, IL. Tributes may be shared with the family at www.mem.com. God put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. 3,23 James T. 'Tom' Phillips, 61, of Rockford, Ill. died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at 10:34 a.m. at OSF St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran and was employed by Sunstrand Corp., Aerospace Division. He was a graduate of Harlem High School Class of 1967.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Phillips, Sr. in 1998.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret McDowell Phillips of Loves Park, Ill.; two sisters, Judy Hervey of Riverside, Calif. and Sharon 'Sue' Diderich of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Charles 'Rick' Phillips and Mike Phillips, both of Loves Park; and a special friend, Elva Damon.
Services were held Thursday, Jan. 6 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield with Bro. Jim Adams officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellow Cemetery in Morganfield. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Rockford, Ill.
