84, of Cave Creek, AZ. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 7, 2014. Gerald was born in Detroit Mich. on August 4, 1929 and spent his youth in Auburn Heights, Mich. In 1947 he jointed the Air Force and received an honorable discharge after serving nine years. In January 1954 Gerald married Margaret Watts and enjoyed a loving relationship that lasted 60 years. In 1958 he moved to San Carlos, Calif. to raise a beautiful family and pursue a career in the movie industry and lumber business. Upon his retirement in August 2000, Gerald and Margaret moved to Cave Creek, AZ. to enjoy the western life style Gerald had grown to love. He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband and father with a passion for western movies and the Detroit Lions. In addition to his wife Margaret, Gerald is survived by his sister June, daughter Shelley (Tim), sons Pat (Roxie), Mike (Laura), and Mark, six grandchildren - Willy, Ely, Linnea, Paul, Brittany, Wade, two great grandchildren - Catalina and California and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly. In lieu of a service, donations to the Arizona
Hospice of the Valley
and/or Vererans Administration would be greatly appreciated. -.
