Irma B. Strawn, 94, Salida, died Aug. 8, 2003, at Colum-bine Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Strawn was born Sept. 12, 1908, in Boise, Idaho, to Alfred Harris and Jennie Florence (Thompson) Higgins.

She was a member of the Modern Woodman and enjoyed writing essays.
Mrs. Strawn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton R. Strawn and many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Anne) Strawn, Ignacio; Melvin (Bernice) Strawn, Salida and Daniel (Sandra) Strawn, Vancouver, Wash.; sister-in-law, Miriam Higgins, Boise, Idaho and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
