Visitation for Betty June Haram Atteberry, 83 of Sherman, formerly of Bonfield and Kankakee, will be from 3 tp 9 p.m. Sunday at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Villa West Health Care in Sherman.
Burial willl be in Evergreen Cemetery, Chebanse.
Memorials may be made to the Preahers Aid Society.
She died Wednesday (May 7, 2003) in Springfield.
Mrs. Atteberry was a captain for the Salvation Army for 16 years and a devoted preachers wife for over 45 years.
She was born June 12, 1919, in Onarga, the daughter of Louis G. and Sarah A. Strawn Schleichardt.
Her first husband, Rev. George Haram, whom she married June 8, 1940, in Kankakee, died in 1983.
Her second husband, Rev. Albert Atteberry, whom she married Oct. 4, 1985, in Springfield, died in 2001,
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Karen Haram of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Quaisar Khan of Springfield, Eunice and Mike Richmond of Marion, Iowa; one sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Paul Binning of Waukegan; eight grandchildren, Jeff Marcure, Diane McCombs, George Marcure, Jennifer Rodriguez, Emily Hoopingarner, Zachary Khan, Claire Richmond and Jake Richmond; seven great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Lois Ann Haram; one brother, Bob Schleichardt; and one sister Lois Anderson, are deceased.
She was a member of the Sherman United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Senior Citizens groups and the Bonfield Lioness Club.

Visitation in Kankakee for the Rev. V. Haram, 69, will be at St. Mark United Methodist Church, from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services at 2 p.m. Dr. Donald Black, pastor will officiate.
The Rev. Mr. Haram died at 2:05 p.m. Friday at his home in Harvel.
The son of Mark E. and Agnes Banks Haram, he was born Feb. 15, 1914, in Mendota.
A United Methodist minister foe 40 years, he retired in 1979.
His memberships included the Chebanse Masonic Lodge AF & AM, the Lions Club of Divernon, the Raymond-Harvel Senior Citizens and the Raymond United Methodist Church. He was a trustee on the Harvel villlage board.
Survivors include his wife, the former Betty June Scheichardt, to whom he married June 8, 1940, in Kankakee; a son, Mark Haram of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Eunice Richmond of Marion, Iowa and Carol Cahn of Springfield; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert Haram of Gilman; three sisters, Vera Smith of Bourbonnais, Ruth Kuipers of Gilman and Mildred Groskreutz of Piper City.
A daughter, Lois and a sister Dorothy are deceased.
Visitation at the Farmersville United Methodist Church will be from 4-9 p.m. today. There will be an all night vigil. Dr. Jack Travelstead, United Methodist District Superintendent will officiate at the services at 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Chebanse.
Memorials may be made to the Preachers Aid Society Central Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church.
