Theodore (Ted) Jacob Reitz was born on 11 July 1925 in Fairfield, Spokane, Washington.^1,2,3,4 He and Louise Emily Hash were married on 7 November 1957 in Hermiston, Umatilla, Oregon.^5,6 He died on 29 April 2010, at age 84, in Kennewick, Benton, Washiington.^3,4,7 He was buried in Gideon Lutheran Cemetery, Franklin County, Washington.⁴

Marilyn Mae Henriksen was born on 14 July 1934 in Audubon, Audubon, Iowa.^1,2,3 She and Lisle Dewayne Hash were married on 17 June 1956.¹ She died on 20 March 2017, at age 82, in Utah.³ She was buried on 1 April 2017 in Brigham City Cemetery, Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah.³

Marilyn Mae Henriksen was educated in Iowa State University/ Utah State University BS/MS.⁴ She was a Vocational Home Economics Teacher.⁴ Brigham City, Utah - Marilyn Mae Henriksen Hash passed away peacefully at her home March 20th.
She was born in the family farm home in Audubon County Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Martha Henriksen on July 14, 1934. She graduated from Audubon High School in 1952 where she had played on the girls baseketball team. She had also been very active in 4-H and served as the County 4-H President.
Following high school, she enrolled at Iowa State University where she met her future husband Lisle Hash. They were married following graduation in 1956. They moved to Stratford where she taught Vocational Home Economics and Lisle taught Vocational Agriculture.
In 1959 they moved to Newton, Iowa where she continued teaching at the Area Community College. In 1971 the family moved to Brigham City, Utah. Marilyn again taught sewing, and in 1974 accepted a teaching position at Intermountain Indian School. While working there she also earned her MS degree from Utah State University, graduating in 1980.
In 1980 she accepted work at Thiokol Corporation as a technical writer/editor in Process Engineering. She retired in 1992 to spend more time with her husband who had been diagnosed with cancer. In 1993 she was called to work at Morton Intl again as a Technical Writer until she retired again in 1999.

Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and pinochle, and caring for her beautiful yard. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, yard work, crafts, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Ogden, Utah. Her church has always been a central part of their family life.
Marilyn is survived by her three children: Jana Hash, Frederick, MD; Lee (Linda) Hash, Appleton, WI; and Kay (Ron) Prescaro, North Ogden, UT. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Thomas Reilly, Kirsten, Lucas, Kevin, and Logan Hash, and Nicole and Robert Prescaro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lisle, her parents, her sisters Ardyth and Phyllis, her brothers Norman and Dale, and one granddaughter Amanda.
Marilyn was dearly loved by many throughout her long and remarkable life, and leaves behind many wonderful memories. Her family and friends remember her with love and gratitude.
A visitation/viewing will be held Friday, March 31st from 6:30-8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Saturday April 1st from 9:30-10:15 am. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 1st from 10:30- 11:30 am at Ascension Lutheran Church in Ogden, Utah.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
