WHEATFIELD, IN - FORMERLY OF PLYMOUTH, IN - Margaret Hatfield Singleton-Harder, 76, died Friday, February 5, 2010. She was born December 31, 1933, in Knox, Indiana, to the late William and Sarah (Garrison) Hatfield. She is survived by her children: Vickie (Gregory) Clapp of Orange Park, Florida, Michael (Linda) Singleton of Wheatfield, Pat Singleton of Valparaiso, Indiana, Shawn (Rachel) Singleton of Crown Point, Indiana and Jennifer (Chris) Harder Hamilton of Florida, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister, Madeline (Ralph) Allen of Knox. She was preceeded in death by her first husband, Merwyn "Tuff" Singleton, her second husband, Donald Harder, two sons: Mark and Jeff Singleton, seven brothers and sisters: Marie Novak, Robert Eskridge, Elouise Gasser, James Hatfield, Mary Hanak, Harold Hatfield and Clarence Hatfield. Services were held Monday, February 8, at the MC Smith Funeral Home. Burial was in the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet, Indiana. Memorials maybe made to the VNA Hospice. Arrangements were made by MC Smith Funeral Home, Knox.

HAROLD H. HATFIELD
KNOX, IN-Harold H. Hatfield, 80, died Saturday, December 9, 2006, at his home. He was born May 13, 1926, in Calumet City, Illinois, to the late William H. and Sara (Garrison) Hatfield. Mr. Hatfield was a veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Disabled American Veterans and the Masonic Lodge. He and his wife owned and operated the Bass Lake Bargain Store. He is survived by two sons; Lon (Janice) of Knox and Curt (Jean) of Monterey, Indiana, six grandchildren, one step grandchild, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters; Margaret Harder and Madeline Allen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dee, one son Kenneth, three sisters: Mary Hanak, Marie Novak and Eloise Gasser, and three brothers: James and Clarence Hatfield and Robert Eskridge. Funeral services were held December 12 at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox. Memorials may be made to the Starke County Hospice. Arrangements were made by M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.
