VIOLA B. MARVIN
Viola Beatrice Marvin, 62, of 116 Kenmore Ave. died Sunday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Marvin was a life resident of Syracuse. She was the widow of Reinold Marvin.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Marvin and Suzane O' Laughlin; two sons, Paul and Curtis; her parents, Gordon and Leota Spoar; two brothers, George and Glenn Spoar; and one grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday at a time to be announced at the Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.

George K. Spoar, 87, of Clay passed away on Tuesday. He was an avid SU fan, he loved camping at Brennan Beach, and enjoyed gardening and golf.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty; Daughter, Sandra (Robert) Jones; Son, Drew Spoar; 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Nick, and Nate; 4 great-grandchildren, Gracie, Jameson, Naela and Tyson and his beloved dog Gunner.
A calling hour will take place Friday 10 to 11 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. A Service will follow immediately after. Burial will take place in White Chapel Cemetery. REINOLD M. MARVIN, of 116 Kenmore Ave., died yesterday at Community-General Hospital after a short illness. A native of Duluth, Minn., Mr. Marvin lived 26 years in Syracuse. He was employed by the major television department of General Electric Co. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was manager of a Little League baseball team.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Viola Beatrice Marvin; two sons, Paul and Curtis Marvin; two daughters, the Misses Barbara and Suzanne Marvin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Marvin; five sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Raboy of Endwell, Mrs. Marjorie Bronson of Lagrangeville, Mrs. Barbara Adams of Montvale, N.J., Mrs. Joyce Svedman and Mrs. Janice Gwynn, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Garfield Funeral Home, 515 Westcott St., the Rev. Charles H. Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
