Kathleen "Kay" Giguere - Davison. Kathleen "Kay" Giguere, 84, a resident of Taeckens Terrace in Davison (formerly of Lapeer) passed away Friday (February 15, 2008). She was born December 4, 1923, in Flint, to James and Violet (Congdon) Daly. She married Robert Giguere on December 20, 1941 in Flint. Mrs. Giguere was manager of Crestview Manor in Lapeer for 19 years. She loved her grandchildren and spending time and cooking for her family. Kay enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her children, Sandy (Ivory) Reynolds of Davison, Gary (Pamela) Giguere of Davison, Shireen Woodruff of Davison, Vaughn Giguere of Tennessee, Patty (Jim) Strobridge of Fenton, Janice (Dave) Vernier of Davison, Mark (Connie) Giguere of Fenton, Mickielynn Hurley of Burton; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Faye) Daly of Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Giguere in 2003; parents, James and Violet Daly; brothers, John "Jack" Daly, Thomas Daly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brian's House. Funeral services were held Tuesday (February 19, 2008) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Father George Puraidam officiated. Burial was in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Flint. Arrangements made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, (810) 664-8111.

Obituary
DALY, Lawrence E. Of Fenton, age 86, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Genesee Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Roy Horning officiating, followed by Military Honors under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard. Visitation 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial in Prudenville Cemetery, Prudenville, MI.

Lawrence was born in Flint, Michigan on February 24, 1929 and was a resident of Flint all of his life. On September 3, 1969 he married Faye Dummer. Mr. Daly was employed by GM for 25 years.

Surviving are wife, Faye; son, Jim Daly; daughter, Roxanne Hutchison; son, Donald (Laurie) Dummer, Jr.; son, Patrick (Dawn) Dummer; daughter, April Wallace; son, Scott Daly; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Daly and son-in-law, Steve Wallace; first wife, Margaret Daly.
