She had one older brother R.b. Minton. Carol Ann was always a happy person. She was always joking and acting crazy. Physically as a teenager she was athletic and loved to swim and dive. She liked square dancing. She became ill early in 1962 from hepatitis and died of kidney failure. In 1962 she lived for several months with her uncle Robert M. Britt Jr. and family in Dallas. Later in the fall of 1962 she lived with her aunt Nellie Bennett and family in Houston. She left an impression on the people she touched, as an example a neighbor of the Bennetts in Houston named their daughter Carol Ann after her while only knowing her for several month.
