ROWSE, Marietta Rose - Marietta Rose (Parker) Rowse formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at University Hospital, London with her family by her side. Marietta was the youngest child of the late Alex and Emma (Fuller) Parker born September 21, 1933. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Royce Rowse (2000). Predeceased by her youngest child Linda Rose (1981) and her dog Sammy. Marietta is survived by her children Vic and Cindy Rowse, Gwen Rowse and Tony Morais, Alex Rowse and Angie Rose, Dave Rowse and Rose Dicy, Patty and Jim Weaver, Sandra and Jim Spinks and Mike Rowse and Brenda Smith. Cherished grandmother to Jason and Alison Mooney, Trish and Mike Robb, Melanie and Ray Leith, David Rowse, Tonya and Steve Brown, Jenna Weaver and Mark Jackson, Jessie Weaver and Stephan Lahnalampi, Rachel Rowse and Zack Korol, Megan, Mitchell, Michael and Georgina Rowse, David and Marc Morais, Andrew and Matthew Rose. Marietta was the proud great grandmother of Celeste and Tristan Rowse, Brandon, Bradley, Emma and Ethan Brown, Ben and Robbie Mooney, Evan Parker Robb, Zak, Hunter and Chayse Leith. They will miss “Great“ so much. Predeceased by two sisters and four brothers. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the BIEMAN FUNERAL HOME 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Tuesday 6-9 p.m.). Celebration of Marietta's life will be held at the Dorchester Community Church 3912 Catherine Street, Dorchester on Wednesday, May 30th at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Strokan officiating. Interment of cremated remains Dorchester Union Cemetery. Marietta loved all animals. In lieu of flowers she has asked that as an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the London Humane Society, 624 Clarke Road, London, Ontario, N5V 5K3 or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
