Obituary: Frank H. Fondek

Frank H. Fondek, 63, of Freeport died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Rochelle Gardens in Rochelle. Born September 28, 1949, in Ashland, Wis., he was the son of Shirley Wieman.
Frank worked for Newell Companies for 25 years. He was an avid motorcycle fan.

Surviving are his sons, Ben (Kendra) Fondek of Freeport and Erik Fondek of Beaverton, Ore.; two grandchildren, Chloe and Owyn Fondek of Freeport; and his brother, Curt Horsemeier of Olin, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Walker Mortuary. A memorial fund has been established. Please visit www.walkermortuary.com to leave a condolence, light a candle, send flowers, or place a donation.
