2 LEE HOLMES DUNCAN
Close friends and relatives of Lee Duncan met at the Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City on July 6, to mourn the sudden death of Mr. Duncan.
Lee died of heart failure on July 1, while working at his son's manufacturing shop in Eugene. He often visited the shop where he found expression for his inventive mind. He was always a sure herald of spring in Sisters when he and his wife, Elizabeth could be seen in their unorthodox camper touring the highways.
Born 66 years ago in the family homestead log cabin in Rock River, Wyoming, Lee married Elizabeth in 1940, the same year they both became recorded ministers at Friends Bible College in Kansas.
The couple retired to Sisters from Greenleaf, Idaho, where Elizabeth taught elementary school.
Elizabeth plans to remain in Sisters until "the Lord tells me something else," as she puts it. The Duncan's have daughters in Alaska, Washington and Salem, in addition to the son in Eugene.
