1,1 Glenn, 84, of Fowlerville, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 in Howell. He was born in Shell City, Missouri to John Shelby Hicks and Geraldine F. (Church). He married Coilah Walworth on Aug. 30, 1952.
A member of Fowlerville United Brethren in Christ Church, Mr. Hicks was formerly an assistant manager at Lake Chemung Resort. He enjoyed small engine repair and writing poetry.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years: Coilah, daughter: Glenda (Bob) Feig, 3 sons: Wayne (Wanda) Hicks, David (Kellie) Hicks and Dean (Nancy) Hicks, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Charles, and Benjamin, and 2 sisters: Dorothy Driver and Alice Lukenbill.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: John and Lee and sister: Allena Faye Kelly.
Services were Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Fowlerville United Brethren in Christ Church with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating.
