Born July 17, 1924 in Long Beach, California and entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2012 at home in San Leandro at the age of 87 after a valiant battle with multiple myeloma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Monez. She will be dearly missed by her son, Wayne Monez (Georgette) of Park City, Utah; daughters Karen Monez of Fort Worth, Texas and Vicki Monez of San Leandro; grandchildren Kyle Monez of Park City, Utah and LTJG Tyler Monez, USCG, of Clearwater, Florida. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 7, at Lone Tree Cemetery, Hayward, California. Donations in memory of Delores may be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, P.O.
