William H. "Bill" LeLoup, age 79, of Gary passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Frank (Gloria) of Gary and Joe LeLoup of Merrillville; three daughters, Mariealena (Jim) Alexoff of AZ, Betty (Bob) Cozad of DeMotte and Billie Marie Gardner of Hessville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 11 AM at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville/Highland, IN. At rest, Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM, at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, Robert J. Dellenbach Funeral Director. Bill was retired from U.S. Steel Gary Works as a Rigger with forty-two years of service. He served in the Army during WWII with the 82nd Airborne. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Gary, USWA Local 1014, and the Lucky Wheels Motorcycle Club.
