Beatrice May Ellison Goodsell Birth: Jan. 1, 1937 Mountain View Howell County Missouri, USA Death: Nov. 10, 2009 Wichita Sedgwick County Kansas, USA ******************************* Published Nov. 12, 2009 - Chanute, KS Beatrice May Goodsell, 72, Chanute, Kansas, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at the Via Christi St. Francis Hospital Campus in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Mountain View, Missouri on January 1, 1937, the daughter of Elbert and Goldie (Roberts) Ellison. She graduated from Chanute High School. Beatrice was united in marriage to Dennis Goodsell on December 14, 1958. He survives of the home. She was a homemaker. Along with her husband Dennis, she is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Downing of Wichita, KS; three sons, Rick Goodsell of Wichita, KS, Dennis Goodsell of Altoona, KS, and Randy Goodsell of Chanute, KS; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Freddy Ellison of Claremore, OK, and Bob Ellison of Chanute, KS; and three sisters, Doris Anderson, Rosemary Jacket, and Joyce Alexander, all of Chanute, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry Ellison. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS. Memorials in her name may be made to the American Heart Association and may be left with the funeral home. Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
