Carole Ann Bridgewater, 69, of Brazil, Ind., went home to be with Jesus at 2:13 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010, at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born May 13, 1941 in Terre Haute as the daughter of Joseph and Gladys Taylor Rollo. She was united in marriage to Cevert W. "Sonny" Bridgewater on July 20, 1958.

She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed cake decorating, spending time with her family, and singing, especially with The New Creations gospel group and her family. She was a member of Bee Ridge Congregational Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cevert W. "Sonny" Bridgewater; father, Joseph Rollo; mother, Gladys Linnabary; and stepfather, Myron Linnabary.

She is survived by a daughter, Julie (Ron) Maurey; sons, Jeff (Donna) Bridgewater, Jim (Sandy) Bridgewater, Bob (Missy) Bridgewater and Ron (Stacey) Bridgewater; grandchildren, David (Mikki) Maurey, Elizabeth Maurey, Rebecca Maurey, Libby (Matt) Dupin, Erin (Chandler) Rutan, Andy, Taylor, Travis, Tyler, Nick and Garrett Bridgewater; greatgrandchildren, Aidan Maurey, Kaylee and Austin Dupin, Carmaren Nees, Amelia and Arleigh Ison and Kelli Riggs; a brother, Tom (Joyce) Rollo; stepmother, Leona Linnabary; five sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Ansil Harpold officiating. Thomas V. Rollo, 66, of Terre Haute, and currently living at the Veterans Nursing Home, in West Lafayette, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Terre Haute, the son of Myron and Gladys (Taylor) Linnabary.*
* [With his last name Rollo, it seems obvious that Thomas was the son of Joseph V. Rollo and Gladys Taylor, with Myron Linnabary, 2nd husband to Gladys, actually his step-father.]

He graduated from Gerstmeyer Technical High School. He was drafted into the United States Army and received a medical discharge following an accident during basic training. He owned and operated Professional Bowling and Trophy in 12 Points during the late 70’s and early 80’s. Tom had also worked in sales with several different companies.

Tom was an avid bowler and bowling instructor. He had received multiple awards and earned several 300 and 700 series patches. Tom enjoyed watching sports especially the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and Indiana Pacers. He was a member of the AMVETS, Disabled American Veterans, and American Legion Post 346 in Terre Haute.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Carole Ann Bridgewater.

He is survived by his wife, G. Joyce Rollo; three sons, Thomas B. Rollo (Tammy) of Terre Haute, Steven Rollo (Liz) of Florida, and Anthony Rollo (Kiley); stepdaughter, Andrea Colclasure; grandchildren, Conner Rollo, Ashton Rollo, Isaac Rollo, and Keaton Rollo; stepgrandchildren, Jason Colclasure (Kelly), Ryan Colclasure (Stephanie), and Leah Martin (Michael); as well as four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, 421 N. National Ave., in Brazil, Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The Michael J. BRAZIL - Cevert W. “Sonny” Bridgewater, 70, of Brazil went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born July 30, 1937, in Brazil to William Jasper and Norma Elizabeth Steele Bridgewater. He was united in marriage to Carole Ann Rollo on July 20, 1958. Sonny worked as a truck driver for Wabash Fibre Box Company in Terre Haute for 37 years. His favorite pastime was to be with his family, whom he adored. He enjoyed watching his boys play ball and loved hearing his family sing gospel music. He was a member of the Bee Ridge Congregational Christian Church.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 49 years, Carole Ann; five children, Julia Maurey and husband Ron of Brazil, Jeff Bridgewater and wife Donna of Brazil, Jim Bridgewater and wife Sandy of Brazil, Bob Bridgewater and wife Michelle of Clay City and Ron Bridgewater and wife Stacey of Columbus; 12 grandchildren, David Maurey, Elizabeth Maurey and Rebecca Maurey all of Brazil, Libby Dupin and husband Matt of Seelyville, Erin Nees and husband Shane of Brazil, Andy Bridgewater of Indianapolis, Taylor Bridgewater of Brazil, Travis Bridgewater, Tyler Bridgewater of Clay City, Nick Bridgewater, Garrett Bridgewater of Columbus, and Nikki Ison and Jesse of Brazil; four great-grandchildren, Camaren Nees of Brazil, Kaylee Dupin of Seelyville, and Amelia and Arleigh Ison, both of Brazil; five sisters, Charlotte Hay and husband Earl of Terre Haute, Beverly Airhart and husband Denver of Carbon, Rosemary Reberger, Barbara Kingery and Vickie Earlywine, all of Brazil; stepfather and mother-in-law, Myron and Leona Linnabary of Terre Haute; brother-in-law, Tom Rollo and fiancée Joyce; and special friends Glenn and Marge Jones and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Gladys Linnabary; and father-in-law, Joseph Rollo.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home with Ansil Harpold officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and before services Wednesday.
