Mrs. Geraldine Misener
Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Misener, 73, of 713 N. Morgan street, will be Wednesday at 10 a. m. at A. J. Rose & Son. Vault entombment will be at Riverview abbey. Mrs. Misener died of natural causes in her sleep early Sunday morning at her home. She and her husband, W. R. Misener, had planned to leave Tuesday for a trip to Iowa. She was born in Marshalltown, Ia., June 20, 1876, moving to Springfield 37 years ago and to Portland 35 years ago. She was a member of the United Spanish War Veterans. She was particularly active on the hospital committee of the latter. Besides the widower, she is survived by two sons, M. K. Newman, Des Moines, Ia., and Theron Newman; a daughter, Mrs. Elolah Fisher, Kellogg, Ia.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
