Helene Marie Taylor was born on 11 June 1905 in Michigan.1,4,2,3 She and Carlton Lee Clothier were married on 28 August 1926 in Caro, Tuscola, Michigan.1 She died on 21 July 1940, at age 35, in Flint, Genesee, Michigan.4,2 She was buried in Marlette City Cemetery (Plot H), Marlette, Sanilac, Michigan.2

Biography

Marilee Ann Clothier was born on 23 May 1930 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. She died on 23 October 2016, at age 86, in Caseville, Huron, Michigan.
Marilee Ann Clothier was a Ward Clerk in Saginaw General Hospital.1 Marilee Ann (Clothier) Cilc, 86, of Caseville, formerly of Saginaw, died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her home. Marilee was born May 23, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Carlton and Helene Clothier. She married James "Ike" Cilc, the love of her life, on January 27, 1951. He survives her. They were married 65 3/4 years.
She worked for over 20 years at Saginaw General Hospital as a ward clerk. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, quilting, crocheting and spending time with her family. In 1985 they built their home and moved back to Caseville after retiring. She was a member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary for many years and put in a lot of volunteer hours with her husband.
Surviving, besides her husband, are four children: Carlene Cilc (Doug) of Hickory Corners, Bobbie Kasper (Ken) of Caseville, Lee Ann Bell (Jim) of Saginaw, Sandy Kocks of Saginaw; three sisters, Ann Kuhn (Bob) of Frankfort, Mary Kunitzer (Tom) of Frankfort, and Karla Matuzak (Jeff) of Saginaw; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother (Robert), sister-in-law (Fran) and son-in-law (Daryl).
There will be a luncheon at 2:00pm Saturday, October 29th at the Caseville Eagles Club, 7017 East Park Street, where we will celebrate her life and have a beer in her honor. A special thanks to A&D Hospice in Pigeon for the wonderful care they gave our mom, especially Jennifer & Carol. We couldn't have done it without you. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to A&D Hospice of Pigeon.
