Dolores Arlene Fette was born on October 10, 1933, at Prairie du Chien, WI, the daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Hilda (Cornwell) Geisler. She was baptized on December 30, 1934, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, WI. She was confirmed on June 26, 1949, at the Lutheran Church in Wauzeka, WI. She graduated from Wauzeka High School in 1952. On October 6, 1953 she was united in marriage to Virgil Fette at the Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, WI.

Dolores loved to quilt, cook, play cards and spend time with family and friends. She also loved her time in Texas with her friends whom she called her second family. She was very involved with her church, and loved her church family.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil Fette, St. Olaf; four children, James Fette, St. Olaf, Diana (Brad) Butikofer, Marion, Steven (Julie) Fette, Coggon and Lori (Todd) Balekos, Monona; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis (Sharon) Geisler, Prairie du Chien, WI and Kenneth Geisler Jr., Wauzeka, WI and a sister, Rosemary Arneson, Prairie du Chien, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roger Geisler.

Obituary
WAUZEKA - Roger D. Geisler, age 58, of Wauzeka, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse. He was born July 18, 1944, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., son of Kenneth and Hilda (Cornwell) Geisler Sr. He served in the 229th Engineer Co. of the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1975. He married Susan Shipley on Aug. 19, 1967, at St. Paul's Church in Wauzeka. He worked as a supervisor for the wastewater treatment plants in Wauzeka, Boscobel and Prairie du Chien. He was most recently employed by B.R. Amon and Sons in Elkhorn.

He is survived by two sons, Mark of Mazomanie, and David (Michelle) of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a daughter, Luann McCarthy of Wauzeka; two brothers, Kenneth Jr. of Wauzeka, and Louis (Sharon) of Prairie du Chien; two sisters, Dolores (Virgil) Fette of St. Olaf, Iowa, and Rosemary Arneson of Prairie du Chien; five grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 10, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Wauzeka. The Rev. Joel Oines will officiate, with burial in the Wauzeka Cemetery.
