Obituary
REX LLOYD LUDWICK, age 71, died on Friday, February 19, 2010, at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. He was born on May 21, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, to Harry Ames and Alma Ruth Ludwick. He was a resident of Troy, Michigan, and was a former resident of Ferndale, Michigan.
Education: Rex earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana.
Occupation: Mr. Ludwick retired from Chrysler Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer after 35 years. He worked in Quality Control as a Customer Advocate. At one time he developed sound systems for Chrysler automobiles. Mr. Ludwick was a longtime member of the Detroit Sportsmen Congress. He was an avid sportsman, and in particular enjoyed bass fishing. He was proud of the fact that he sang in the Columbus Boys Choir (now called the American Boys Choir) in Princeton, NJ. The group was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1937 and relocated to Princeton in 1950.
Military: Mr. Ludwick proudly served in the U.S. Army (October 5, 1961 - October 4, 1967), and taught Engineering there.
Surviving, Wife of 45 years: Patricia Ann (nee: Kelly) Ludwick.
Surviving, Daughter: Michaela Ludwick.
Deceased, Son: the late Aaron Matthew Ludwick, deceased August 29, 1985 .
