Obituary

SUZANNA FEDERICO, 66, of Lapeer, left this earthly life for heavenly reward on Thursday, November 3, 2011 after her two and half year battle with cancer. Sue was born in Trenton, Michigan on July 13, 1945, the daughter of the late Ernest and Maxine Goachee. She and Gene were united in marriage on October 7, 1977 in Sandusky, Michigan. She was a longtime member of Calvary Bible Church.

Sue loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, riding motorcycles and four wheeling. She took pleasure in, sewing, quilting, crocheting, gardening, bird watching and studying her bible. She was a former member of CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association), where she traveled to motorcycle rallies to share the Word of God, which s he was never ashamed to do.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gene of Lapeer; daughters, Bobbi Turner of Madisonville, TN, Kay (Steve) Fletcher of Grand Blanc; stepdaughter, Lynne (Garrett) Holmes of Ortonville, Stepson, David Federico of Las Vegas; brothers, Fred Heater of Romulus, Bill (Kay) Goachee o f Romulus and Ron (Linda) Goachee of Bandon, OR; sister, Janet (Harold) Waechter of Taylor; and sisters-inlaw, Julie Chappel and Merle Anderson; she was the very proud grandmother of Tyler, Trevor, Jacob, and Hunter, and aunt to many nieces and nephews; special friends, Shirley, Norma, Diane, Louisa, May, Jan and many others.

Memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice.

Sue's funeral was held Monday, November 7, 2011 at Muir Brothers Funera l Home, Lapeer, Rev. Arnold Bracy and Rev. Paul Held officiated. Burial was in Hunters Creek Cemetery, Lapeer.

Sue will be remembered for her caring and tender heart, lively spirit and unwavering faith in God. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Our family serving yours for Generations.
