Engle, Arthur Howard, 62, of 9211 Cummings Road, Owensboro, formerly of Wayne, Ohio, died Wednesday at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was a leader of the Boy Scouts of America in Owensboro and a member of the Council of the Girl Scouts of America.
Services are at 10 a.m. today at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in St. J oseph. Burial in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, Owensboro. The family requests that expressions of sympath y take the form of donations to the American Heart Association, 920 Fre derica St., Owensboro, Ky. 42301 or the Hospice Association Inc., P.O. Arthur Howard Engle, 62, of 9211 Cummings Road, Owensboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1992, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He retired Nov. 1,1992 as maintenance supervisor from Pinkerton Tobacco Co. and was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
His wife, Carol Louise Engle, died in 1977. Survivors include his wife, Malinda Jean Dant Engle; two sons, John Walter Engle of Longview, Texas, and Steven Robert Engle of Traverse City, Mich.; a daughter, Gayle Jean Rhodes of Williamsport, Md.; a stepson, Christopher Todd Heflin of Beech Grove; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lee Engle of Wayne, Ohio.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Burial in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, Owensboro, where prayers will be said at 6: 30 p.m. today.
