Miriam Rose Adams, 74, of Binghamton, died Tuesday, October 30, 2001, a t Wilson Memorial Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Louise Meades.

She is survived by her husband, John Quincy Adams, Jr., Binghamton; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Patricia Adams, Castle Creek; one daughter, Karen Adams, Binghamton; one sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte ( Kitty) and Walter Swartz, Florida; five grandchildren, Tracy, Paul, Karen, Alicia, John; two great-grandchildren, Brian and Austin; and also several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Barber Memo rial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City. The Rev. Robert Kadlecik w ill officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family w ill receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barber M emorial Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made t o the American Diabetes Association, Parkinson's Disease Association, o r the American Heart Association.
