MURRAY, Dan G. - Auctioneer - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday October 9th 2011. Dan G. Murray of RR# 7 Woodstock in his 71st year. Beloved husband for over 45 years to Shirley Murray (nee Bruce). Dear father of Jennifer (Dave Armstrong) Murray of Oxford Centre and Dan Jr. "Digger" (Hazel) Murray of Innerkip. Loved grandfather of Ronnie and Craig Hope; Danny, Georgia and Duncan Murray. Dear brother of Edith (Pete) Noy of Burlington and Marion (Ted) Farrell of Brantford. Sadly missed by his father-in-law Howard (Edith) Bruce of Woodstock and brother-in-law of Don (Bonnie) Bruce of Kitchener. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dan was known in the car auction industry where he owned and operated Dan Murray London Auto Auction for over 45 years.
Predeceased by his parents Gil and Hazel Murray and his mother-in-law Beth Havey. Many thanks to the hospital staff, Dr. Jeff Nichols, Dr. Faisal Al-Nane, Dr. Pramil Tahlon and the many nurses for such great care. Friends may call at the BROCK & VISSER FUNERAL HOME 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 2:30-4:30 pm and 7 -9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Fr iday at 11:00 am.
