Arthur James Spurway was born on 14 April 1919 in Billings, Yellowstone, Montana.¹ He and Anna Lily Keller were married on 11 September 1938 in Billings, Yellowstone, Montana.¹ He died on 21 April 1990, at age 71, in Billings, Yellowstone, Montana.¹

James Charles Siefert was born on 17 April 1930 in Saskatchewan, Canada.¹ He and Opal Eunice Keller were married in 1954.¹ He died on 17 July 2019, at age 89, in Strathmore, Wheatland, Alberta, Canada.¹ He was buried in Cayley Cmetery, Cayley, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

James was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Opal, infant son Greg, and siblings Fred (Nellie), Ernie
(Gwen), John (Lottie), George, Walter, Charlie Seifert, Helen (Walter) Luhning, and Elsie (Jack) Sullivan.
Jim will be remembered by his children; Larry (Kita), Mike (Carolyn), Alanna (Alvin) Hermanson, and
Carolynn (Daryn) Knapp; twelve grandchildren: Calida, Jasmine, Terry, Christianne, Nathan, Brittany,
Russell, Kay-Cee, Greg, Dylan, Brett and Kadon; great-grandchildren Drake, Veronika and Elias; and
sisters-in-law Beverly Van Dine, and Marilyn and Theresa Seifert.
Jim's family would also like to say a special thank you to the staff and residents of Meadowlark Senior Care
Home in Strathmore for caring for Jim, and welcoming "Hug-A-Bug" into their lives.
Jim was laid to rest beside Opal at the Cayley Cemetery on July 20. A celebration of Jim's life will be held
on August 24, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Strathmore Civic Centre, 120 Brent Boulevard, Strathmore, AB. If
friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, 20 Eglinton
Avenue West, 16th Floor, Toronto, ON, M4R 1K8.
