Joyce Marie (Longshore) Wintemute, age 59, of Girard, passed away Monday December 1, 2014, at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. Born in Erie, on August 27, 1955, she was a daughter Betty Jame Thompson Goral Longshore Woodward, and the late Charles Rancelor Longshore.

She had been a personnel officer for the Civil Air Patrol. Joyce was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and enjoyed drawing, painting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Samuel Wintemute, who died in 2003, a bother, Charles R. Longshore, and a step-daughter, Denise Wintemute.

Survivors include a daughter, Yvonne Susanne Wintemute Thaler and her fiance, Daniel Osterberg, of Girard, two stepsons, Mark Wintemute, of Girard, and his girlfriend, Melissa Clemens, of Albion, and Robert Wintemute, and his girlfriend, Casey Griffin; a step-daughter Lisa Wintemute Delaney, husband Joseph, of Albion; a brother, David J. Longshore, wife Marlene, of Florida; a sister Loretta Kendrick, husband Lloyd, of New Port Richey. Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Preston Wintemute, Rachel and Erica De- laney, Kaira and Alecia Thaler, Tanya Wintemute, Jeffrey Thaler, Jasmine and Mason Osterberg, Lacey, Robert and Aurora Wintemute; five great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours or service will be held. Arrangements were under the direction of Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street, at Greengarden Boulevard. Memorials may be made to the NW PA Humane Society, 2507 Zimmerly Drive, Erie, PA 16506.
