Mrs. Catherine Abers, widow of John Abers, died at 7 o'clock Monday morning at the age of eighty- four years. Mrs. Abers was a daughter of the late Tobias and Anna Haines and was born at the Haines homestead, Frankford Plains. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Peter Wintermute, at whose home she died: also by one brother, J.H. Haines, of Newark, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Roe, of Augusta. Funeral services were held at the Wintermute home at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. M.T. Gibbs, of Hackettstown, and Rev. W.C. Perez officiating. The burial was in the Frankford Plains Cemetery.
