Marlo Edwin Sanderson was born on 19 December 1920 in Michigan.2,3 He and Mary Margaret Riker were married before 7 July 1942. He died on 31 July 1982, at age 61, in Alachua County, Florida.3 He was buried in Salem Cemetery, Zionsville, Boone, Indiana.3

He attended North Central High School and graduated in 1967, He was graduated from Ball State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Architecture.

For a period of six years, George worked with a variety of Indiana firms.

In 1979, George joined the Columbus architectural office of NBBJ.

He retired on disability in 1992, and he and Dwight enjoyed many vacations and cruises after retirement. George and Dwight enjoyed the company of friends and family for the rest of their lives.

George was preceded in death by his partner Dwight Hina, parents Marlo E. and Mary M. Sanderson, and Dwight's mother Myra. He was survived by his father, brother, two sisters, many nieces and nephews, and members of the Hina family.4
